Description A collection of 11 items of USS Mugford Memorabilia.
3.1) Typed 4 page photocopy of the History of USS Mugford (DD389)
3.2) Aluminium strip from a Japanese "Kamikaze" plane that crashed on the Mugford
3.3) Piece of metal (greenish blue) from the same "Kamikaze" plane
3.4) A piece of shrapnel removed from the donor's life jacket
3.5) Yale lock with identifying marks U.S.N.
3.6) 2 Yale keys to fit lock identified U.S.N.
3.7) Electric #3829 (for electrical spare parts storage metal box)
3.8) Dog tag with original cord marked: Highfill Paul E., Jr. BT "A" TT 9-42 401-46-25 U.S.N.
3.9) Metal whistle marked The Acme Thunderer Made in England
from a crew member of the Australian Hospital ship,
HMAS Centuar who was taken aboard the Mugford after his
Ship was sunk by the Japanese.
