Wooden plaque with a paper print of a drawing of the Schooner Hannah. "Commanded by Capt. Nicholson Broughton, of Marblehead. The first American Warship commissioned by authority of the United Colonies of North America. Commissioned by General George Washington, Fitted out and manned by men of Marblehead, Sailed September 5th 1775". It also has the seal of the Town of Marblehead. |
