Description Wood model of a Burgess airplane. This model depicts a Burgess Model B-D, Sportsman's Seaplane. The prototype's characteristics were:
- Wingspan of 46' 0"
- Length Overall of 23' 0"
- Engine - Curtis OXX2. 100 HP
- Live load - 670 lbs
- Max Speed - 69 mph
- Min Speed - 45 mph
- Seating - 2
- Endurance - 4 hrs

According to Janice Standley, this model was made by William "Ducky" Standley and donated by his son Lester Standley. Ducky worked at the Burgess plant at Little Harbor and used scrap materials from planes made there to make the model.
