On the front of the medallion is the seal of the Town. On the reverse is the following inscription: "1629 - 1929 300th Anniversary Celebration Marblehead, Mass. 1929 Official Souvenir". The medallion is suspended from a red, white and blue ribbon which is in poor condition. The medallion is attached to a jewelry display card labelled: "#1 M-774 1929 Marblehead Mass. 15.00"
