A booklet in poor condition containing the town report for the year 1 March 1864 to 1 March 1865. This was the final full year of the Civil War and the largest expenditures were Bounties Paid to Volunteers $25,950.00 and Aid to Families of Volunteers $ 31,100.00.
Included in this report are reports from the Selectmen, The Surveyors of Highways, School Committee, The Fire Wards, The Overseers of the Poor and Thomas Swasey, the Collector.
