Abstract A story of two men lost in a snow storm on the Burgeo Bank south west of Newfoundland and, when it was published, the survival of one of those men lead to the reunion of William Litchman, of Marblehead, and his brothers Francis and Thomas Lishman in Little River Newfoundland.
