Date 1859
Abstract Ledger of Cloon's hardware store for the year 1859.
In the index it contains the names of 309 persons, 24 firms and organizations, and 44 schooners.
Each name has a number associated with it and that name is also entered on the corresponding numbered page together with items purchased and amounts due.
In addition to the bound pages between many pages there are sheets of advertisements, price list, business correspondence and trade cards which have been pasted into the bindings. Many of these inserted sheets are dated in the 1870's as if the book had been used as a makeshift catalog 13 or 14 years after its use as an account book.
