Held at the home of Mrs. Ezra Prichard Oct 5, 1865 members present 11, Officers chosen as follows: For President Mrs. E. Bowden Vice president Mrs. E. Bire (?) Sec. & Treasures Mrs. L. W. Bowden Directory Mrs. B Selman, Mrs. B> Cole, Mrs. E. Prichard No. of members 34 in the treasury 10.46 Voted at that meeting to hold our annual fair Christmas Also to give the Directory full power to use the money in the treasury to the best advantage without again going before the society which is (?) (?) (?) amount by assessment $17 which gives 27.46 The amount made at the fair $298 of this 236 was paid for the church 10$ to (?) Barden, 27.50 to Mrs.. Kiteridge being the amount required to make up the sum of $1900 which leaves a balance of $24 now in the treasury.
