Abstract	Journal of the Firemen's Muster Committee with beginning date January 19, 1899 No list of members of the committee is in the book except H. C. Sparhawk chairman and R. H. Salkins, Secty. Meeting was called on 24 Feb 1899 by the chairman and it was voted to hold a parade of active and veteran firemen on 21 July 1899 and to invite Veteran Firemen Associations of Essex County to take part in the parade and play out on that day. The following prizes were recommended 1st 125, 2nd 75, 3rd 50. A sum of $300 was voted for expenses of the Muster Committee. Nothing further is in the book.
