| A temperance certificate for Jennie C. Hammond. Making her a member of the "Juvenile Temperance Society of the 20th st. M. E. S. S., and signed by Louise E. Coleman, President and Laura L. Davis, Secretary. The pledge is not signed by Jennie C. Hammond. There are five prints in black on the certificate, 1. A man signing a pledge in the doorway of a bar room being scolded by a woman while another woman and small child look on. 2. Three young girls holding a banner of "Industry, Sobriety, Prosperity" 3. A fountain in a park 4. A young girl looking a two fishes in a pond 5. A wine glass with two snakes coming out of it |
