Strickland on his promotion to Warrent Officer, It also had an Editorial requesting constructive criticisms and articles of interest from the crew. Notice was made that Hallowe'en was quiet.
Page 2) This page contains a Naval notice that the Navy will increase from 116,000 men to 145,000 men and men honorably dichcharged less than 8 years previous could re-enlist at their old rate. thoes over 8 years out could re-enlist as Seaman 1class or Fireman 3 class. The next article compared the "Old Navy" with the current Navy.
