Page 1)This page contains The Masthead, (a newspaper term for info on the publisher, editors etc.) it also contains items about Request for Shore Duty, New Construction, Travel to Dairen, changes in the U.S. Naval Postal facilities in China and possibilities for more rapid advancement in rate in the future Navy. Page 2) This page contains changes in officer personnel, Lcdr W. E. Lankeanu arrived for duty as the navigation officer,Lt. Drury is the new Communication Office, Ens J. M. McDowell is assigned to the 3rd Division. Lcdr left to be senior aide to ComSubRon 5 in Manila and Mr. Weeks has been promoted to Lcdr. The page also has a wood of advice and a article about the baseball team. Page 3)This page has a list of men recently arriving for duty, a cartoon of "The Cat" and several jokes. Page 4) This page has another letter from a former sailor who was discharged dishonorably and wants to reenlist. Page 5 & 6) are a blank sheet.
