Abstract	This is a letter from Joseph P, Schwieterman, Ph. D. of DePaul University to William Conly of Marblehead MA. Attached is a violet sheet of paper giving illustrations of symbols used in a book about town which were abandoned by the railroads in the Eastern United States. There is a comment sheet for final suggestions on the book and a map of the eastern United States showing many of the towns depicted in the book. In the letter he asks for a final review of the Marblehead chapter, and explination of what is not in the book and arequest an answer by September 30 1999.
