Two copies of the program for the Marblehead Tercentenary 1649-1949. It was held in August of 1949. It contains a list of the people on the various committees involved in the celebration, a "Story of Marblehead" by Charlotte f. Roads, with many B&W pictures, "Marblehead Fire Department" by Charlotte F. Roads, "Marblehead a Nation's Yachting Capital" by Leonard M. Fowle, and a program of events lasting from Wednesday, August 24th to Sunday August 27th.
There are six pages of persons on the Roll of Honor (donors) a page for the Chamber of commerce and many pages of advertisements of local merchants and organizations. |
