Record 2979/5355 Catalog Record Archives Exhibit Page Home Search Description  An advertising handbill for Sunday's New York American, a New York newspaper, announcing "The Football Game of the Season, For the Championship of the Atlantic States" between Curtis High School (of Staten Island) and Marblehead, Mass. High School. It was to be held on Saturday, December 7, 1935 at Thompson's Stadium, Staten Island. The handwriting on the front indicated Marblehead won 29 to 0. On the back are the names of some of the Marblehead players and details of the trip.
