A booklet about Marblehead published by Jo-Frogger Press in 1949.
It contains photos of Marblehead scenes and some of Marblehead history taken from Rhodes "History of Marblehead" (probably referring to "History and Traditions of Marblehead" by Samuel Roads, Jr.)
It includes superstitions, customs, famous Marbleheaders, a chronology of the town from its founding in 1629 to the American Revolution, points of interest and a selection of old houses.
The cover has a photo of the cast iron sign at Fort Sewall. |
