| Two letters from Susan Glover Macomber to the Selectmen & 1 news clipping about Marbleheaders rescue of the Constitution and its visit to Marblehead.
A) Letter dated July 20, 1931 to the Selectmen noting an article in the Herald about the impending visit of the Constitution to Marblehead. She is a descends of Thomas Homan. She notes that the Herald article said that the Sixth Mass. company took the Old Ironsides from Norfolk to Annapolis at the start of the civil War but in fact it was the Eighth Mass. company from Marblehead that did it .
B)Another letter dated July 26, 1931 in which she gives thanks for a phone call in reply to her first letter and notes that she has written to the Herald to correct their error and that she plans to come to Marblehead for the Constitution's visit.
C) A news clipping (and photo copy) of the Herald's printing of her correction.
