Six form letters from the Office of Selectmen addressed to "Fellow Townsmen" announcing that the Frigate Constitution would visit Marblehead on July 29 and 30 1931 and requesting donations to finance a celebration for the event. they hoped to raise $2,000.00. These six letters were returned with donations. A) The Misses Curtis of 7 Glover Square donated but did not note the amount. B) A Maude Wallburg of 256 Humphrey Street, no amount noted. C) Wesley H. Rowe sent $1.00 and Elizabeth M. Rowe gave $.50. Both live at 32 Smith Street. D) EJN, no address enclosed $2.00 E) Name unclear "Sorry can't make it more-fine work." No amount noted. F) Hugh T.
