Collection Marblehead and the USS Constitution

Abstract Eight identical letters sent from the selectmen to prominent men in Marblehead, listing them and requestion their help in appealing to the Secretary of the Navy, Charles Francis Adams to include Marblehead in the itinerary of the Frigate "Constitution."
