This house was once owned by Deacon William Doliber of the 2nd Congregational Church. He was also a member of the Committee of Correspondence. It was also owned by Thomas Appleton whom Appleton's Wharf was named after. It was also owned by Grace Oliver whom Grace Oliver's Beach was named after.
