Description 
Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey The original owner was Nathaniel Norden. It was one of the first houses built in Marblehead. When it was built (around 1700) it was a tavern. The first two owners of the house had the first two graves in Burial Hill. Sidelights: Musket shot was embedded in the barn. Attic was used as a church for the Catholics. Secret stairway going to the attic. British officers from the boat "Lively" started a fight in the Tavern.
