Abstract Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey

Historical Importance: First used as a farm house, then used as a Tavern and Candy Shop. People came from all over to have the famous Joe Frogger cookies and to pitch pennies in the pond. After, they would go into the tavern to listen to Black Joe's fiddling. Black Joe was a Revolutionary War hero. His gravestone can be found up on Old Burial Hill.
