| Abstract |
Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey
Twenty-nine Lee Street is located on a very historical street which was known as the highway to Nick's Cove in earlier times. It has many architectural features that illustrate the colonial style. It also has two adjoining houses added onto it. It is one of very few in Marblehead. The deed research was confusing because the house changed hands and the land was split up by many people. At one point seven people each owned one-seventh of a seventh part. An interesting History of 29 Lee Street is on page 36 in the red Requirements Folder. In addition, the researchers have done a brief history of many of the homes on surrounding streets with current pictures. (see the blue Electives Folder) |
