Abstract	Marblehead Jr. High Archives Historical Building Survey John Savage was the first recorded owner of this home at 12 Middle Street. He was a town Selectman and one of the founders of St. Michael's Church. The earliest deed was when John Savage sold the house to Richard Tutt in 1767. The house, however, is believed to have been built in 1673.
