| Abstract |
Marblehead Jr. High Archives Historical Building Survey
The home at 11 Mugford Street was formally a store run by the Nicholsons in 1830. It is the same street where James Mugford used to live. He was famous for capturing a British ammunition ship. The Old Town House, built in 1727, is located a few buildings away. Across the street is the Unitarian Church.
Interesting article on Captain James Mugford in the Electives Folder. |
