Abstract Marblehead Jr. High Archives Historical Building Survey

Jonathan Glover (not the General) lived in the house in the early 1800's. Elbridge Gerry (the signer of the Declaration of Independence) lived there in 1805. He served as Vice-President of the United States and sold the house in 1805 to John Selman, a merchant. Gerry died in Washington where he is buried.

Interesting history on Elbridge Gerry in the blue Electives Folder.
