The Old North Church had a Sunday school in it. The exterior has many features - six over six windows, stone and mortar foundation, hipped roof, and shutters, while the interior has wide floorboards, winding stairways, pilasters on fireplaces and hewn beams. Many interesting and famous people have lived and stayed in the Pearl Street Area. Elbridge Gerry lived around the corner on Washington Street and Captain Blackler lived at 7 Pearl Street. He was in charge of rowing George Washington across the Delaware.
