Marblehead Jr. High Archives Historical Building Survey
The historical importance of this home: first post office in Marblehead and also served as a tavern and a butcher shop. The added side of the house was used as an inn (81 Washington St.).
It was mentioned as Calico House in the novel "The Hearth and Eagle".
