| Abstract |
Marblehead Jr. High Archives Historical Building Survey
This home on 10 Washington Square was built by William Sandin, a fisherman. He was a direct descendant of Arthur Sandin who was granted the land in 1638. The home reflects a fishing community because it has features in it resembling a ship.
All of the homes selected to be researched on Washington Square are pre-1800 and each has a story behind it. The Written History (page 33) is well written and very informative. |
