Abstract Marblehead Jr. High Archives Historical Building Survey

Hannah Deveraux Knott, for whom the house was built, married Joseph Swett and had a son, Joseph Jr. He, in turn, married Ruth (last name unknown) and they had a daughter Ruth Jr. who married Robert King Hooper, for whom the King Hooper Mansion was named. Then Ruth passed away and Joseph Jr. married Martha Stacey. They had a daughter Martha. She married Colonel Jeremiah Lee. When Martha died, Joseph Jr. married Hannah Straham. They had a daughter, Sarah. She married Marston Watson, for whom Watson Street was named.
