| Abstract |
A handwritten bill or invoice from Lincoln Hawkes to Herbert Haskell, Building Inspector, Town of Marblehead for supplying a finial post for the Powder House which was made of hard pine 10.5" in diameter and 7' 8" over all length. Turned to drawing submitted by the building inspector and thru bored from end to end with a 1.75" hole with the ends plugged. It was painted with two coats of rustoleum primer and weighed 175 pounds. Price $800.00
"Linc" Hawkes has given an unconditional guarantee for 100 years.
