Description

| Eight items concerning aliens recently brought into Marblehead.
1) Bond dated 16 Jan. 1834, by Mark H. Meservey for passengers landed at Port of Marblehead.
2) A letter from Nicholas Tucker to the Selectmen, Mr. Tucker has recently been appointed by the Selectmen but he now finds that a recent law of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires him to be appointed by the Governor's Council and has "instruction such that I do not wish to comply with"
3) A note signed by Sewall Mores and Sally Mores describing the travels of Peter Olsen of Gothenburg Sweden and Charles Carpenter of Portsmouth England
4) Bond dated 2 December 1836 by Samuel B. Gregory and John Gregory for passengers brought into the port of Marblehead on board the schooner "William"
5) Bond dated 6 December 1836 by Mark H. Meservey and J. P. Creesy for passengers brought into the port of Marblehead.
6) This paper has notes on both sides one side refers to Rebekah Gally & Child who are in Boston and whose husband Richard Galley is in the Ipswich Goal (jail) and was born in Boston. Dated Marblehead Jan 24 1809.
The other side refers to Alby (last name illegible) born in Laurent in France and came to Marblehead in July 1789.
And Francis Bridge born in Geneva and came to Marblehead October 1792 for the first time.
7) This is an invoice from Phillipe Cotelle for $26.00 to the board of Narerville Larivine, and Joshua Poetiss for 13 weeks @ $2.00 per week to the Overseers of the Poor dated May 25, 1803.
8) Bond dated 29 November 1836 by William Roads and Joseph W. Green brought into the port of Marblehead.
