Abstract 5 printed correspondence from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and
5 handwritten documents addressed to the town:

1)Dated May 5, 1808, an order to vote on a person to replace Jacob Crowinshield, who died, as a representative in Congress

2) Dated July 17, 1841, an order to vote on a Register of Deeds for Essex County

3) Dated June 12, 1817, an order to ascertain the number of Deaf and Dumb persons in the town.

4) Dated March 7, 1839 "An Act Concerning Elections"

5) Dated April 6, 1857 "Resolves Relating to the Proposed Amendments of the Constitution"

6)Dated May 2, 1803,Ordered the Constables to notify the town to hold an election for Representatives to the General Court.

7)Dated Feb. 4, 1819 "An act repealing the collection of taxes in the Town of Marblehead.

8) Dated October 19, 1814 "An act to regulate the collection of taxes in the town of Marblehead"

9) Not dated, half sheet of paper containing a declaration of rights under the Constitution.

10) Not dated, five pages of hand written proposals for additions to the Constitution of the United States.
