| A small collection of undated papers from the assessors files 1) The Humble Petition of (not readable name), all hand written in copperplate script. 2) list of banks in the local area with amounts (Mostly $100.00) next to the names. With "Hooper Farm" at the bottom 3) An undated invoice from R. Brown , handwritten, approved by James Goodwin 4) A slip of paper with "Edwd Fettyplace Sr. Note of hand paid by forward orders dated, 4th Nov. 1793. The reverse is blank. 5) An empty envelope addressed to "Chairman board of Assessors, Marblehead, Mass. with a post mark Boston Mass. Mar 30, 1P.M. (no year) the return address is P. O. Box 1545, Boston , Mass. 6) A list of 25 pieces of real estate with a person's name and very brief note on the real estate. 7) A receipted invoice from the Marblehead Messenger (the date is missing 8) An undated receipted invoice from Glover Broughton for $34.50 9) A card with number of acres and fractions of acres together with a price foe each. |
