This file contains a collection of receipts for various funds handled by the assassors from 1810 to 1819. It also contains: 1) a two paGE FININCIal report by the Collector of Taxes for 1813 2) a four page report of a committee set up to study the work of the assessors and recimends amoung other thing that the budget for the assessors be $150.00 as apposed to the $216.75 recently paid, dated April 13, 1818 3) a single page letter to Nath Wade, Esq dated Marblehead Jan 8, 1815 explaining that Thomas Calley, the Collector for the Town lost his wallet on a trip ti Ipswich containing Seventeen hundred dollars and the Sherif arrested him and the Town is working on the problem.
