This act was titled "An Act for the more equal Assessment of Taxes" For list of Companies in this file see Notes. This file contains 92 notices from various corporations to the assessors of Marblehead listing the names and quantities of shares of socks with the corporations in the years One each from 1861 &1865 and 90 from 1863 For the first time many of the list are printed list of all the share holders with the city or town noted next to the name rather than hand written list for each town.
