Abstract This file contains 39 handwritten invoices to the Town for the years 1770-1779
They are for services or items authorized by the Selectmen.

There are 4 full sheets of payment authorized by the Selectmen for the years 1770, 1771, 1772, & 1773

It also contains:
1) "List of sundry Orders drawn in favor of the Inhabitants since 1775"
2) Two orders to merchants in Marblehead to credit women for up to £10 for merchandise. They have been canceled by cutting a diamond shaped piece from the center of the paper.
