Collection Charles F. Pyne
Date 2010
Abstract A 19 page notebook compiled by Mr. Charles Pyne whose family lived in a house on Mansion Road which his family owned from1942-1996.
The house was part of a small subdivision which was constructed in the 1930's on the former site of the so-called "Devereux Mansion". After much research, it appears that the mansion was located approximately at the corner of Orchard Street and Mansion Road. He has included maps and atlases of the area and also copies of postcards from the MHC. He gives many thanks to Wayne Butler, the Abbot Public Library and the Essex County Registry of Deeds.
