| Abstract |
Legal size file folder labled "Library Appraisal" containing paper concerning the purchase of the Guide land on Pleasant Street. This land is near the Abbot Public library with only one house between them. It was once a garden shop run by Margaret Stone, Harbortown Flowers.
10A) A copy of the vote at the 1997 Annual Meeting in Marblehead for the motion to purchase the Guide lot.
10B) Two copies of Assessors Map #86 showing the area between Pleasant St., Maverick St. and the Town /Old R.R R/W (the former rail road tracks). The lots in question are outlined in color.
10C) A Letter from Francis J. McGee to F. Richard Bowen giving him the definition of "assembage" and "plottage."
10D) A bill for services in conection with the appraisal of the Guide land addressed to Paul Lausier , Town Counsel, for $2,500.00.
10)E) Twelve pages of a certificate of Municipal Liens on the Guide land
10F) Two pages of a deed for the Guide land from James N. Skinner and Barbara N. Skinner to Harvey L. Stone and Margaret A. Stone dated 3 July 1974.
10G)Two pages of a deed for the Guide land from Harvey L. Stone and Margaret A. Stone to David M. Guide, Trustee of Harbor Town Realty Trust and two pages of a certificate 0f Municipal Liens on the Guide land dated January 15, 1986. And one page noting a mortgage for $180,000.00. and seven additiong copies of the above.
10H) A Booklet containing an appraisal of the Guide land dated 27 January 1997 for $325,000.00 by Francis J. McGee.
10I) A single 8.5" X 11" sheet is a printed note from the 1997 Annual Town Meeting on penaltys for violation of Chapter 1-24 concerning Waterways and Boats, Docks and Waterways (no apparent connection with the Guide land.)
