Abstract A legal size folder containing 26 miscellaneous sets of papers on various topics of interest to the donor.

23A) Three pages of letter size paper, First a letter from the Town Clerk of Sudbury MA. Betsey M. Powers to Marblehead Town Clerk, Betty J. Brown requesting information on Donald Howey who apparently was involved in an interruption of a Sudbury Bicentennial Committee presentation at a special Town Meeting on January 3, 1774. The second is a handbill titled "WARNING, To all Bicentennial Patrons". The third is a copy of a typewritten copy of a Marblehead Town Meeting in December 1773.

23B) A news clipping from the Salem News 12/30/97 about the donation by Earl Reynolds to the Historical Commission and a photo copy of the same.

23C) A copy of the Swampscott Reporter Vol.1 No. 1 , September 3, 1970

23D) A copy of The Old Marblehead Cod from the Marblehead Council on Aging July 1982

23E) Two copies of "Marblehead Proposal for Bids" on $1,120,000.00 bonds November 29, 1973

23F) Five copies of "Colonial Days 1649-1974 the 325th Anniversary of Incorporation"

23G) A copy of the Marblehead Messenger for March 1, 1962

23H) Two copies of the "Marblehead Deed for their Township" 4 pages set in type and spelled as in the original handwritten document.

23I) A 3.5" X 5" handbill with the words Marblehead,"Birthplace of the American Navy", U.S.S. Glover and the image of the ships coat of arms and the motto "Look Out Sharp"

23J) A news clipping from Cleveland Press, March 22, 1974 about several copies of the painting "Spirit of '76" and photo copies of the clippings

23K) A mistery photo in an envelope addressed to Paul Lausier from Bill Rolfe. The photo is if two paintings of an elderly woman in a black dress and an elderly man with a white beard set side by side on a rail.

23L) An envelope from D. Williams of the Marblehead Post office to Paul Lausier. Inclosed is a letter which explains "How Sponsors obtain Special Cancellations"

23M) A news clipping, and a photo copy of it, about a tableau presented by the American Legion Post at Wellington. It includes a copy of the Spirit of '76 and a photo of the men in the tableau.

23N) A mortgage paper from Benjamin F. Foster to Abraham D. Wait dated May 20, 1871 on some land in Essex.

23O) A one page biography of General John Glover "Presented to the U.S.S glover by the Town of Marblehead on the 13th day of November, 1965."

23P) A plan for a diagram and program for a dinner for the Police and six 3" X 5" file cards with notes dated 1/25/83 for Dick Russell.

23Q) A letter/invoice dated 3/1/1982, from Richard K. Homan Surveyor of Highways to Mr. Arthur Poor advising him that the sand he took from the highway garage at Tower Way is only for personal use and since Mr. Poor used it at his place of business in Salem there was a charge of $10.00.

23R) A letter dated 11/29/1991, from Randolph E. Goodwin, President of the National Grand Bank advising the Shareholders that the Board of Directors voted to omit the December dividend due to a loss in the previous nine months.

23S) Eleven pages of copies of letters and minutes of Selectmen's minutes about the gift to Marblehead of a "Bronze Field Piece" captured by the USS Marblehead at Caya Del Tose during the Spanish War in 1898.

23T) A 3" X5" card with notes about the Public Landing across from the Tucker House.

23U) A small news clipping about a letter to Gov. John Hancock offered for sale at auction in California.

23V) Seven pieces of correspondance & information about Copyright to and from the Library of Congress

23W) Eight pieces of correspondance about using the image of the Spirit of '76 in a publication

23X) 3 poor copies of 5 women playing cards and the Old Town House

23Y) 3 letters from people who wanted to sell memorabilia to the Town

23Z) A letter inquiring about the origin of the unusual name of Marblehead from Hawaii.
