Abstract Clipping from a newspaper regarding two young men from Marblehead hoping to reach Bar Harbor, Maine on a dory trip. They estimated the trip to take ten days or more.

The days passed and without hearing from them, the search began.
The dory was found by a lobsterman ashore on Richmond Island, a short distance from Portland.

It was noted that both men were of the kind that is a loss to the community.
