The document was part of a collection of Marblehead memorabilia that belonged to Jonathan Mason a/k/a/ Jot Mason. Also, a Poem by John W. Chadwick titled On the Rocky Headland. This was in the same notebook and the same person that wrote the book "Cap'n Chadwick Marblehead Skipper and Shoemaker in 1906. This gift is given in memory of Jonathan B. Mason.
