| Abstract |
A wooden plaque presented to the Town of Marblehead. The brass plaque attached is 14" X 14" and engraved: "Presented to the Citizens of Marblehead, Masssachusetts by the Officers and Men of the United States Ship Glover on the Twenty-first day of October Nineteen Hundred and Sixty Five in Recognition of the Warm Bonds of Tradition and Friendship Which Unite Them."
The USS Glover Shield on the top of the plaque: USS Glover AGDE1 - Look Out Sharp.
There is also a small engraved plate 3" X 1" stating: Made of the Original Oak Removed From The Gundeck of the USS Constitution IX-21 During Restoration
