Abstract A newspaper article in the Marblehead Reporter on March 1, 2012 titled Evolution of an Arts Association. This year (2012) will be the 90th Anniversary of MAA. Founding Marblehead Arts Association President Orlando Rouland, a NY portrait artist, visited Marblehead on commission to paint Marblehead war hero Chaplain Lyman Rollins and he and his wife visited again and again before making Marblehead their summer home. The article is centered on documented history that evolved from Rouland's first visit and the formation of the Marblehead Arts Association.
