The Marblehead Messenger from July 12, 1976. It is a reprint from the December 14, 1877 edition that tells the story of Abbot Hall from beginning to end. Also included is a pullout souvenir section headlined Abbot Hall's 100th birthday party. Internment of a time capsule (to be opened in the year 2076) climaxed the Abbot Hall Centennial Ceremonies on July 24, 1976 sponsored by the Marblehead Bicentennial and Historical Commissions.
