Abstract Ledger Book for the fishing schooner Hannah, Nicholas Bartlett owner, for the period from March 4, 1801 to Aug. 20, 1806. The Ledger shows each crew member for each voyage and the amounts they received, both in advance and after the voyage was complete. Nicholas died Apr. 20, 1819.
The second half of the ledger was used for a sewing business operated by Mary & Abigail Bartlett from the period July 20, 1824 to 1832. It shows materials purchased, employees and sales.

Letter to Mrs. Robert M. Webber, 163 Eliot Street, Milton, MA from M. V. Brewington, assistant Director, of the Peabody Museum, Salem, MA identifying the fishing vessel Hannah as built in Amesbury, MA in 1797. he letter describes the Hannah and the ledger as an account book recording payments to the crew for their share of the profits of th fishing voyages.
