A newspaper article from the Jewish Journal, Nov. 2012 on Richard Salinsky being inducted into MHS Hall of Fame. He was honored in part for his role in the 1962 Thanksgiving game vs. Swampscott.
It included a clipping from the 1962 Salem News showing the "kosher middle," and their decision not to play on Yom Kippur. The other two regulars (Salinsky and Katz) also sat out the Saturday game against Salem.
