| Summary |
This book describes the techniques for fishing from Gloucester in the first half of the 20th century. But many of the photos and descriptions apply to fishing in the earlier days when fishing was the principle industry of Marblehead. This industry mainly ended in Marblehead with the loss of many ships and 65 men and boys in the great storm of 1846. |
