Washington Street in front of Lee Mansion. Part of Graves Clothing House with bunting and sign with man on it. A line of men and boys reaching across the street. In the background the building at 146 Washington st. has been gutted by fire. Aditional note: On page 62 of booklet #2006-021-00084 "Historical Sketch, Gerry No. 5 Fire Company" there is a description of a fire in this area in Sept 1873. This might be the fire seen in this photo. |
