There is a large sign on the front left of the building: "Marblehead National Bank". At this time, the building was owned by the Marblehead Bank and used as their banking office. At the bottom of the picture is the caption: The Lee Mansion, Marblehead, in 1890. Washington was entertained here in 1789. |
